Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour Job Description: Assembly Operator Liss Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm Factory Based RoleWe are currently recruiting for an Trimmer and End of Line Checker to join a busy manufacturing site based in Liss.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is focused, patient and takes pride in producing quality work. You'll be working as part of a production team ensuring finished products meet company standards before dispatch.Key Responsibilities… This is a quality-focused manufacturing role where documentation, inspection discipline and clear escalation protect the customer and the production process. Candidates should expect close work with production, engineering and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-process, final or release checks according to the source advert and site procedures
• Record inspection results, deviations and non-conformances accurately
• Use measuring, laboratory or test equipment relevant to the product and industry
• Support root-cause investigations and containment activity when defects are found
• Work with production teams to maintain standards without slowing the line unnecessarily
• Keep quality records audit-ready and escalate out-of-specification results promptly

Requirements

• Quality, inspection, laboratory or technical experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good written documentation habits and attention to detail
• Able to follow controlled procedures and understand why traceability matters
• Comfortable challenging product quality issues professionally on the shop floor
• Industry-specific standards such as GMP, BRC, ISO 9001, AS9100 or IPC are useful where relevant
