About the role
Goods in Operative / Stock Controller required for a manufacturer for the pharmaceutical industry based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be experienced in a similar role. Candidates should expect close work with production, engineering and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Carry out in-process, final or release checks according to the source advert and site procedures
- Record inspection results, deviations and non-conformances accurately
- Use measuring, laboratory or test equipment relevant to the product and industry
- Support root-cause investigations and containment activity when defects are found
- Work with production teams to maintain standards without slowing the line unnecessarily
- Keep quality records audit-ready and escalate out-of-specification results promptly
Requirements
- Quality, inspection, laboratory or technical experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good written documentation habits and attention to detail
- Able to follow controlled procedures and understand why traceability matters
- Comfortable challenging product quality issues professionally on the shop floor
- Industry-specific standards such as GMP, BRC, ISO 9001, AS9100 or IPC are useful where relevant
