Job Title: Welder Fabricator Location: Sherburn-in-Elmet, West Yorkshire Duration: Permanent Pay Rate: £16.50-£19.87 per hour (shift dependant) Overtime: x1.5 and x2 We are currently recruiting for a number of MIG Welder Fabricators for both day and night shifts based in Sherburn-in-Elmet. You will be working on a variety of metal fabrication and welding projects, producing high-quality components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should expect close work with production, engineering and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-process, final or release checks according to the source advert and site procedures
• Record inspection results, deviations and non-conformances accurately
• Use measuring, laboratory or test equipment relevant to the product and industry
• Support root-cause investigations and containment activity when defects are found
• Work with production teams to maintain standards without slowing the line unnecessarily
• Keep quality records audit-ready and escalate out-of-specification results promptly

Requirements

• Quality, inspection, laboratory or technical experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good written documentation habits and attention to detail
• Able to follow controlled procedures and understand why traceability matters
• Comfortable challenging product quality issues professionally on the shop floor
• Industry-specific standards such as GMP, BRC, ISO 9001, AS9100 or IPC are useful where relevant
