Production Supervisor

About the role

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners' Wakefield site is one of Europe's largest soft-drinks manufacturing operations, producing high-volume cans, bottles and multipacks for brands such as Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite and Monster. The factory runs at serious scale, so production supervision is about discipline, pace and consistency as much as people management. This Production Supervisor role leads a team of around 30 across a 4-on / 4-off shift pattern. You'll own the shift performance rhythm: daily direction setting, safety standards, OEE, labour planning, changeovers, quality checks and escalation when machinery, materials or staffing fall out of plan. The best supervisors in this environment are commercially aware factory leaders. They understand that a few minutes lost on a high-speed beverage line quickly becomes a large output gap, but they also know that safety, quality and food hygiene cannot be traded for speed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production shift team across high-speed beverage filling, packing and palletising lines
• Run daily direction-setting meetings covering safety, quality, delivery, cost and people metrics
• Own OEE, downtime, waste, changeover and labour-efficiency reporting for the shift
• Coach line leaders and operators on continuous improvement and standard work
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, warehouse and planning teams to recover production issues
• Maintain GMP, food-safety and behavioural-safety standards during busy production windows
• Support investigations into quality incidents, near misses and repeat downtime events

Requirements

• 3+ years FMCG supervisory experience
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Experience leading teams on high-speed automated production lines
• Confident using OEE, downtime and waste data to drive improvement
• Comfortable on 4-on / 4-off shifts and visible shop-floor leadership
