Candidates should expect a mix of planned work, reactive fault-finding and close cooperation with production teams.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery, services or production equipment
- Fault-find mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic issues within your competence
- Complete maintenance records, permits, isolation checks and handovers accurately
- Support breakdown recovery while maintaining safe lock-off and escalation discipline
- Work with production teams to reduce repeat failures, downtime and unsafe conditions
- Keep tools, spares and work areas organised for the next shift or job
Requirements
- Relevant maintenance, facilities or engineering experience in a factory or industrial setting
- Mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled training appropriate to the advert
- Able to read basic manuals, drawings, fault codes or maintenance instructions
- Good safety awareness around isolation, guarding, permits and working at height
- Comfortable balancing urgent breakdowns with planned maintenance work
